"I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their face are never covered with shame...Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him...The righteous cry out, the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Evil will slay the wicked' the foes of the righteous will be condemned. The Lord redeems his servants, no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him."
Trouble comes around for many all too often. It happens when one is least expecting it and often leaves you lost and wondering who you are and what is your purpose. Tragedy is life changing and one may wonder is there anything good in this life. The answer is yes. Think of the One who created heaven and earth. Think of the One who created you. Take refuge in Him in times of struggle because He is good. He is the one who will get you through this storm to brighter days. He is the one who is always faithful and true. He will save you from your darkest hour and shine His beautiful light into your life.
Your Father hears when you call. You are His precious son or daughter. He created You.
Exalt your Lord in times of trouble and remember that He is near. He will redeem you. So take refuge in Him when you are sinking and know that He is there. His love endures forever and He is ever constant.
